The Goncharsky family has been a wonderful host
on all of our trips to Ukraine. Helen prepared all the delicious
home cooked meals - we always enjoy the Ukrainian style of meals.
Most of our visits in Lviv were walking from Ham Dad’s (U5WF)
apartment to town for shopping at the outdoor craft market or
touring the huge Polish cemetery with many ornamental grave markers
and memorial displays. In addition to family outings, David had
special guided tours of Lviv by Julia (US5WDX) and Ham Dad Vlad.
The Gonsharskys presented us with this painting by local artist
Kalinowska, a close friend of Helen's.
