Friends Book Sale

Friends host booksales at each of the branch libraries. Books come from donations from the public, and volumes removed from the collections for a variety of reasons. Sales are ongoing, but special booksale events are also held. See photos from our recent sale at Meadowbrook. Books can be dropped off at any library. Read our guidelines for book donations.

Coffee at the Library

The Friends sponsors a coffee cart at the Blacksburg Library as a service to library patrons.The special coffeemaker lets you choose the coffee type (we also have some teas available) and then makes each cup fresh. Cost is 1$, payable to the front desk. Take your coffee on the road in one of our Friends travel mugs while you support the library($10 for a high quality mug).
