The New River Valley affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International is usually building three or four houses with three or four others in planning stages. Land for more houses is being sought in Blacksburg, Christiansburg and Floyd. Make donations for these houses to Habitat for Humanity of the New River Valley, P.O. Box 570, Christiansburg VA 24073.
Much of the labor for building our houses is supplied by the Virginia Tech and the Radford University Chapters of Habitat for Humanity.
| The Claytor Subdivision in Radford is named for Roy Claytor, one of the founders of Habitat for Humanity of the New River Valley. Two houses along existing 17th street have already been built and five more house can be built when the infrastructure is completed. Contributions are needed to fund the infrastructure. | |
