Service Committee

Mission: To facilitate and encourage congregational members' participation in activities that minister to the needs of people outside our congregation, from our immediate Christiansburg community to the worldwide communnity, and to increase awareness of such ministry needs.

Responsibilities: Harvest Festival, Detention Home ministry, MCEAP-related activities (food pantry collection, Christmas gift wrapping booth), Christmas store, alternative gift-giving opportunities, World Hunger awareness and money collection, other congregational service projects as relevant (interest in having 1-2 inter-generational service activities per year).
