Montgomery County Christmas Store

The Montgomery County Christmas Store is one of the best examples of a county-wide community effort. The store requires months of planning and volunteer work and provides a means for low income families to have a nice Christmas. New clothing, household items, toys, and food are donated and exhibited in a store atmosphere where low income families shop by spending points (determined by income level) for what they need most.

OSLC is asking for your help again this year by collecting cans of pork and beans. Please put in the box by the Narthex.  A count of these items will be shown.  We need the cans by the end of November.

As in other years, we shall be collecting small gifts for moms and dads, also gently used children's books (infants to age 10). On the notice board is a wish list from the different departments at the Christmas store if you wish to know more, or see Shirley McPherson.
