The opening picnic forJoseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will be held on Monday, May 25th from 5:00 - 8:30 p.m. at Blacksburg Municipal Park, Shelter #1 on Turner Street (across from Caboose Park). Members of the cast, orchestra, and production team, and their families are invited to attend, as well as SME members and other individuals interested in helping with the show. Please bring a dish to share. Paper products, hot coals and drinks will be provided. It's a fun time to get together and meet the people you'll be working with this summer. The park has a baseball field, basketball court and playground, so bring any type of sports equipment you'd like and we'll set up a few games. Joseph Logo

NOTE
We will also be collecting membership forms and t-shirt orders, lining up volunteers, discussing rehearsal schedules, and measuring for costumes, so bring your forms, checkbook, friends & volunteers, and calendar.

Directions from Route 460 South into Blacksburg:
From Route 460 South, turn left onto North Main Street in Blacksburg. Proceed south past the Food Lion and turn left onto Patrick Henry Drive. Turn right at the first intersection, Giles Road. >From Giles Road, turn left at the first intersection, Turner Street. We'll be under the picnic shelter on the right, parking is on the left.

Directions from Downtown Blacksburg:
Take Main Street north through downtown Blacksburg. Turn right onto Patrick Henry Drive (just before the Food Lion). Turn right at the first intersection, Giles Road. From Giles Road, turn left at the first intersection, Turner Street. We'll be under the picnic shelter on the right, parking is on the left.
