| The opening picnic for The Pajama Game will be held on Monday, May 31st from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. at Nellie's Cave Park in Blacksburg. Members of the cast, orchestra, and production team, and their families are invited to attend, as well as SME members and other individuals interested in helping with the show. Please bring a dish to share. Paper products, hot coals and drinks will be provided. It's a fun time to get together and meet the people you'll be working with this summer. The park has a baseball field, basketball court and playground, so bring any type of sports equipment you'd like and we'll set up a few games. |

NOTE
We will also be collecting membership forms and t-shirt orders, lining up volunteers, discussing rehearsal schedules, and measuring for costumes, so bring your forms, checkbook, friends & volunteers, and calendar.
Directions from Narrows/Blacksburg:
From Main Street in Blacksburg, proceed south past Gables Shopping
Center to the Red Lion Inn. Turn left onto Marlington Avenue.
At the T, turn right onto Grissom Lane. Follow Grissom until it
dead-ends at Nellie’s Cave Park. We’ll be under the
picnic shelter.
Directions from Christiansburg/Roanoke:
Take 460W to Blacksburg. Follow the Downtown exit sign. You’ll
emerge on South Main Street. Continue past the Wendy's to the Red Lion Inn. Turn right onto Marlington Avenue.
At the T, turn right onto Grissom Lane. Follow Grissom until it
dead-ends at Nellie’s Cave Park. We’ll be under the
picnic shelter.

Take 460E to Blacksburg. Follow the Downtown exit sign. You’ll
