Summer Musical Enterprise announces the audition dates for its 2011 season production of the 1957 hit musical, Cinderella by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein, II.

Thursday - May 5 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Friday - May 6 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Saturday - May 7 9:00 am noon & 1:00 - 5:00 pm
Where: Blacksburg United Methodist Church
Who: Principals - 1 male, 6 female

Featured - 2 males

Ensemble - Chorus

Auditions open to everyone 8 and older!

What to bring:
  • Current photo
  • Theatrical resumé
  • Sheet music for a song of your choice (from Cinderella if possible if auditioning for a lead)
  • Comfortable clothes/shoes for movement (for non-dancers)
  • Appropriate dance shoes (for dancers)
What to Prepare:
  • Song of your choice (from Cinderella if possible)
Audition Requirements:
  • Sing song of your choice (from Cinderella if possible)
  • Perform cold readings from the script (script will be provided at audition)
  • Perform simple dance moves as taught by the choreographer at the audition
