• 1. The Club generates scholarship funds through the sale of raffle tickets and member donations. Each April scholarships are awarded to outstanding Junior Virginia Tech women.

Fall Activities

Plan to attend the Welcome Reception at The Grove on Wednesday, September 8th, from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Our first trip will be to Patrick Henry's home, Red Hill, on Friday, October 15th. Reservation deadline is October 8th.

Mark your calendar now for the luncheon and musical performance at the Inn at Virginia Tech on Monday, October 25th.

Our annual trip to the Martha Washington Inn and Barter Theatre will be Thursday, December 9th. Reserve your spot by December 1st.

Raffle tickets will be sold at both the Welcome Reception and Fall Luncheon for the lovely blue quilt stitched by our Quilting Group.

We are looking for the names of our charter members from 1965. If you have any information on our "first" members, please share this with a current board member.

  Antiques, Bible Study, Birding, Board Games, Book Club, Bridge, Canoeing, Various Cooking Groups, Dine or Lunch Around, Gourmet, Hiking, Mahjong, Needlework, and Quilting. Or, start a new one.
• FRIDAY FORUM
  Meets first Friday of the month at The Grove for intellectual stimulation from a diverse group of speakers.
• SPECIAL FEATURES/TRIPS
  Trips to nearby attractions.
